Diane now focuses on education, mentoring and advocacy.
Interests
Safety culture transformation | enabling ground-breaking culture change journeys, including coaching executives in building a strong culture where the workforce feels supported to speak up about safety concerns, and leaders listen to issues and resolve them.
Human performance thinking | transforming the understanding of incident causation for leaders to see workers as part of a complex system where there is a gap between “work-as-imagined” vs “work-as-done”. This insight enables us to move away from blame when incidents happen and respond supportively to bad news to enable learning about the underlying organisational issues.
Capability development | building skills in leaders to understand their contributions to the workplace system that the front-line navigates, and the most powerful actions that leaders can take to improve that workplace setup.
